In Genesis 11:6 (NLT), the Scripture says, "Look!" He said. "The people are united, and they all speak the same language. After this, nothing they set out to do will be impossible for them!"  God's desire is for the local church to be thinking the same thing, speaking the same thing, and believing the same thing. When we do, there is nothing that God instructs us to do that will be impossible for us. This is why we are taking the time to look at our vision and where we are going as a church so that in unity, we will accomplish everything God leads us to do.

In these series of lessons, taken from our ZOOM Online Bible Study, we are looking at the books of the Bible and talking about the historical background, major themes and insight into the stories, characters and general teaching of the book. We believe this will help us to better understand and appreciate the Word of God as a whole.

In Part 7, we look at the books of Ezra through Proverbs in the Old Testament.

Relationships are one of the greatest paradoxes of life and are a source of both pain and pleasure. Whatever has the potential to bring us the most pleasure always has the potential to bring us the greatest amount of pain if mishandled. Therefore we must face and conquer what we fear, and often what has brought us the greatest pain, in order to find the greatest fulfillment by learning how to love well.

Jesus told us in Luke 18:1 what we should always pray and not become discouraged. God’s will is to bless and prosper you but it will not happen if you don’t pray. Your prayers are the pipeline from earth to Heaven and we need to pray and God will hear and move when we pray.
