God's plan for the Children of Israel was not to live off of the miraculous their entire existence but to live by faith in God's Word. We see that once they entered the promised land, the manna stopped. The same is true for us as New Testament believers. God wants us to learn how to live in total and complete trust in His Word and to live life beyond miracles only.
